On the occasion of the 140th edition of International Labour Day, celebrated on May 1st, 2026, a day marked by conviviality, dialogue, and collective reflection spotlighted the importance of workplace well-being and professional cohesion.
Organized around the theme: "Social Dialogue and Decent Work: Drivers of Peace, National Cohesion and Economic Development in the Workplace," this celebration was an opportunity to reaffirm the essential role of a healthy work environment in organizational performance and the sustainable development of communities.
Activities kicked off with a sports walk in a relaxed atmosphere. This moment of shared experience fostered exchanges among colleagues and strengthened team spirit.
The day continued with a participatory discussion session dedicated to professional fulfillment. Key topics explored included working conditions, staff motivation, internal communication, and the importance of constructive social dialogue within organizations.
A thematic presentation also revisited the history of Labour Day and the core principles of decent work. Discussions highlighted the need to promote dignified working conditions, fair pay, social protection, and respect for workers’ rights as foundations for stability and development.
Staff members also acknowledged several meaningful improvements, particularly in the workplace climate and team cohesion, while identifying areas for growth, including skills development, better internal communication, and continued improvements to working conditions.
Beyond the activities organized, this celebration was above all a moment to recognize the role of workers and to honor the values of solidarity, mutual respect, and collective commitment.
The day came to a close in a warm atmosphere over a shared meal, a symbol of fellowship and collaboration. The event served as a reminder that dialogue, listening, and cooperation remain essential pillars for building more humane, inclusive, and resilient professional environments.
